Founded in 2006 by Japanese designer Miku Ishioka, algorithm is an experimental fashion brand that uses clothing to connect people across identities, cultures and lived experiences. Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Ishioka creates each piece by hand, combining sculptural draping, intricate pattern-cutting and unconventional materials with a deeply human message.
